| Time | Beat | Why it is here |
|---|---|---|
| 0.0s | Hook — a complete sentence | If the hook is still typing itself out, people already scrolled |
| 2.4s | Beat 1 — something changed | First re-engagement point |
| 4.0s | Beat 2 — reaction | Keeps POV subjective, not descriptive |
| 5.9s | Beat 3 — the object | Turns attention to a specific thing |
| 7.7s | Setup — doubt | Raises a question the viewer wants answered |
| 9.1s | Reveal | Longest pause lives here — this is the drop |
| 12.3s | Command | Short line, highest recall |
| 14.8s | CTA | One ask, one time |

Two rules most templates get wrong
Line length. Text past roughly 26 characters at display size gets cropped or wraps into a wall. The caption files in this pack are already constrained, so you do not find out after upload.
Reveal pause. The beat that makes a POV story land is silence, not volume. That pause is baked into the timeline instead of being left to whoever edits.
Common questions
Can I change the story?
Yes — that is the point. Replace the nine lines in the caption file, keep the timestamps, keep the structure.
Does it work for Shorts and Reels?
It is 1080x1920 at 30fps, so it fits Shorts, Reels and TikTok without cropping.
Is the background video or image?
The background is a cinematic still with subtle motion applied at export, so the file stays small and the text stays the focus.
