A velocity curve is a speed ramp: the clip slows at a beat and accelerates into the next cut. Done by hand it takes a dozen keyframes per transition. Done with a template it takes a drag and a resize.
What is in the bundle
- 10 velocity presets covering smooth, punch, stutter and reverse ramps
- Beat-matched cut markers for 90–120 BPM tracks
- Slowmo transitions designed to hide the cut, not show it off
- Plain-text guide: which preset for which footage type
- Commercial use license
Where velocity edits go wrong
The mistake is ramping everything. A ramp is a punctuation mark — one per eight seconds reads as intentional, one per second reads as noise. The guide in the bundle maps preset to pacing so the edit has rhythm instead of panic.
Compatibility
Built for CapCut on desktop and mobile. Clips export to any vertical timeline, so the presets also work when you finish in another editor.
